You & Co celebrates National Children's Day UK 2016

16 May 2016

National Children’s Day UK (15 May) celebrates the natural rights and freedoms of all children, and there are lots of fun activities all over the country where kids can talk, learn and play together.

The theme this year is 'Adult Wellbeing Matters', which explores the link between adult and child mental health. This ties in with Mental Health Awareness Week (16-22 May), which aims to help people talk more openly about mental health issues and to live happier, more connected lives.

To celebrate National Children's Day UK, our teams in London created bright and positive interactive displays to get everyone at You & Co thinking about what we can all do to help children be safe, feel good about themselves and have fun.

The teams shared their ideas and pledges of what they will do - at work and at home -  to be a positive influence in the lives of both children and adults, especially those who may be affected by mental health issues.

Find out what you can do if you feel like you're not coping, or your mental or emotional health is being affected by a crime. Get advice on how you can ask for help and find support.

You can also visit the Young Minds website, which has lots of information about mental health and who you can talk to about it.
